Florence-Darlington Technical College wrapped up a three-game sweep of USC Salkehatchie with a commanding 16-6 victory on Saturday, fueled by a dominant offensive performance.
Zack Hunt led the charge, going 3-for-5 with a home run and five RBIs. Jackson Proctor also made an impact, recording two hits, including a home run, and driving in three runs. Patrick Evans added to the offensive explosion with a home run, two hits, and two RBIs, while Devin Mitchell contributed a double, two RBIs, and a stolen base. The Stingers capitalized on defensive miscues, scoring in six of the eight innings played.
On the mound, Elijah Sanders earned the win after relieving Evan Carter, throwing 1 2/3 hitless innings with two strikeouts. Jackson Mullen stood out with four strikeouts over two no-hit innings, while Noah Cribb and Sanders combined to limit USC Salkehatchie to just seven hits.
