
Florence-Darlington Technical College cruised to a 10-0 victory over Fayetteville Technical Community College on Thursday, powered by a dominant offensive and pitching performance.
The Stingers erupted for six runs in the second inning, capitalizing on errors and clutch hitting. Devin Mitchell led the charge with three hits, two RBIs, and a stolen base, while Diego Garcia delivered a two-run home run in the third. Jacob Brown and Drake Amick also contributed with two RBIs each.
On the mound, Cade Pilgrim, Tanner Hall, and Nick Cappello combined for a five-inning shutout, allowing just four hits and striking out nine. Pilgrim earned the win with a clean first inning, while Hall and Cappello kept Fayetteville off the board. The defense remained flawless, complementing the Stingers' dominant all-around performance.
