13 Stingers named to 2025 Region 10 All-Region Teams

Florence-Darlington Technical College continues to soar in NJCAA athletics, with both its baseball and softball programs having multiple players selected to the 2025 Region 10 All-Region teams. A total of 13 Stingers earned honors for their outstanding performances on the field, showcasing the depth, skill, and competitive spirit of the Florence-Darlington teams.

Baseball: A Powerhouse on the Diamond

Leading the charge for the Stingers baseball team:

• Patrick Evans was named to the Region 10 First Team as an infielder and earned the prestigious title of Region 10 Player of the Year for his dominant presence at the plate and in the field.

• Zack Hunt, also a First Team Infielder, was named Region 10 Defensive Player of the Year, a testament to his flawless glove work and consistency.

• Jackson Cionek earned First Team Catcher honors for his leadership behind the plate and command of the game.

• Devin Mitchell, a standout First Team Outfielder, impressed with his speed, range, and timely hitting.

• On the mound, Mike Joyce was a double honoree as a First Team Pitcher and Region 10 Pitcher of the Year, anchoring the rotation with his dominance.

• Logan Prisco joined Joyce as a First Team Pitcher, bringing depth and composure to the staff.

• Jake Zehner earned Second Team Designated Hitter honors for his consistent bat and clutch performances.

• Bryce Coulter was recognized for his fielding excellence, earning a spot on the Region 10 All-Defensive Team as a pitcher.

Softball: Stingers Earning Their Stripes

The Stingers softball team also made its mark on Region 10 with several athletes recognized for their contributions:

• Grayce Rhyne, a rock behind the plate, was named to the First Team All-Region as a catcher, demonstrating elite defensive skills and offensive production.

• Hayleigh Atkinson, known for her range and powerful bat, was selected as a First Team Outfielder.

• On the Second Team All-Region, the infield was well-represented by Madison Rainwater and Camryn Jordan, both of whom played critical roles defensively and at the plate.

• Larissa Siders earned Second Team Utility honors, showcasing her versatility and value across multiple positions throughout the season.
