
Florence-Darlington Technical College rallied late to earn a 4–1 win over Harford Community College on Saturday, evening the East District Tournament series at one game apiece. The winner of the series will earn a berth in the NJCAA Division I Juco World Series, set for May 24–31 at Sam Suplizio Field in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Scoreless through six innings, the Stingers broke through with a three-run seventh, sparked by Josh Campos' RBI single. Cooper Zohner added a sacrifice fly, and Patrick Evans drove in a run with a base hit. Devin Mitchell also played a key role, drawing three walks, hitting a double, and scoring once.
Zack Hunt went 2-for-5, including a run-scoring double, while Campos finished 1-for-4 with an RBI, a walk, and a run scored.
On the mound, Logan Prisco earned the win with a strong 6 1/3-inning outing, allowing just one run on four hits while striking out seven. Jackson Burton closed the door with 2 2/3 innings of scoreless relief, surrendering just one hit and striking out three to earn the save.
The Stingers played clean defense, committing no errors, and capitalized on timely hitting to keep their postseason hopes alive.
