Welcome to Florence!

Conveniently located at the intersections of I-95 and I-20, Florence is the perfect place for you to explore. Florence, South Carolina, offers a wide range of dining, with spectacular local cuisine as well as plenty of national franchises. And to make our culinary experience even more interesting, the origins of the SC Pecan Trail start here. Get a taste of a modern take on traditional dishes that feature pecans. Ready to relax? Florence has a great selection of national brand hotels near the exits and a boutique hotel in the downtown area.

There’s always something going on at Francis Marion University Performing Arts Center, whether it’s a Broadway Musical or concert by the Florence Symphony, and the Florence Little Theatre is a premier theater with a full schedule of shows. Live bands entertain nightly, and the Florence Center brings in the hottest shows, such as Jason Aldean and Tyler Perry. While you’re in Florence, plan to spend a day in the sand at Myrtle Beach, just an hour away, or check out the excitement at the famous Darlington Raceway, just a few minutes down the road.

Lynches River Park is a great place to relax while the kids jump into nature. The SC Revolutionary Rivers Trail leads paddlers from Lynches River Park into the old hiding spots of the Swamp Fox – Revolutionary War hero General Francis Marion.

If you need someplace to stay, there is a large selection of hotels in Florence, no matter if you’re visiting for business, pleasure, or simply passing through.
